What students say about teaching-and-training-in-post-compulsory-education

The best is the people and the lecturers. The facilities are vast meaning support is available for many issues not only academic. The place that may need improvement is the social accepts as it may be hard to make connections for many.

So far everything is fine. The lecturers are really helpful and won't make you feel insecure about your knowledge. There is just some problems oh terms of timetable management, but for now everything seems great.

What students say about teaching-and-training-in-post-compulsory-education

The campus is easily accessible by bus and also offers a car park, getting to campus is so easy and convenient and the area is a lot quieter as it’s not central, they offer an app where you can earn points when you buy from the food places in the uni the points turn into money which u can then spend, the thing I found the hardest was getting around I would’ve enjoyed a tour on my first day it would’ve made me feel less nervous but the people at reception are happy to help the support from my lectures especially my personal tutor has been amazing I couldn’t have picked a uni more convenient for me.

What students say about teaching-and-training-in-post-compulsory-education

From my opinion I would say ARU is praised for its supportive staff, modern facilities, diverse community, and strong career services. However, areas for improvement include communication responsiveness, consistency in course delivery, better promotion of extracurricular activities, and some accommodation and facility concerns. Overall, it offers a positive student experience with room for enhancement in certain aspects.

Campus, access to central London, Greenwich Town atmosphere, resources and support available, peaceful. Organisation, cleanliness, and aesthetic of university advertisements and facilities could be improved on to reflect the university’s most recent logo and paying attention to the small details

What students say about teaching-and-training-in-post-compulsory-education

I find the amount of support from academic to international and student representative support so immense and it made coping and adjusting to the new environment very easy. The uniskills and library services here is top notch and staff here are very helpful and give guidance when needed. One thing that can be improved is creating more part time job opportunities for students especially international students.

The university experience has a lot to offer, with both its high points and challenges. One of the standout features is the library's interior—it's beautifully designed, with each floor catering to different study needs, creating an ideal environment for focused learning. Another aspect I really enjoy is the Sky Garden. After intense study sessions, it's a perfect place to relax and get some fresh air while catching up with friends. However, finding your way around campus can be a bit tricky at times. While we eventually figure it out, it can be confusing for newcomers or those unfamiliar with the layout. The instructional videos help, but it would be great if navigation was made a bit easier from the start.

What students say about teaching-and-training-in-post-compulsory-education

I attended this university for my undergraduate degree over a decade ago, and I cherished my experience then just as much as I do now. Currently, I find myself in a different phase of life as a mature student with a young family. Nevertheless, I believe that the student experience and facilities continue to meet my needs, even as they differ from those I had during my undergraduate studies. Across all campuses, the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The environment is clean and well-maintained, fostering a strong sense of pride among both students and staff. Overall, the university feels safe and inclusive. I wouldn't say there is a worst aspect of my university experience, as I feel it meets my expectations at this stage in my career and life.
