Teaching and Training postgraduate degrees in Northern England

Austin hall needs a fresh up it is too old and definitely shows its age. Food at Fresh Hope could be better. The chicken sandwich at our place is the worse chicken I have ever had. Wish I was closer to the city center.

The University allowed me to gain an internship in a subject that I am hoping to study for the rest of my life with a company called 2Engage. It has been the best thing that has ever happened to me and the experience has already given me so many vital and important skills. The Careers Team have been nothing short of so helpful!

I love the well integrated teaching modules aligning with the current employability trend and measures in the organisational world. However. the faculty members can be improved with lecturers on the same array of discipline

great uni with good facilities and nice staff. the student union could be better - i find that other unis i’ve visited have better events and the uni is very centred around the SU which i don’t feel as much at liverpool. study spaces are very good, i enjoy the library’s particularly sydney jones with the starbucks cafe. location is great with connections around the country, the city itself is lovely with a good choice of cafes restaurants and things to do. bars and clubs etc are great for student life if you enjoy going out

The labs on level 8 are really really good facilities lots of opportunities to improve in lab skills, the worst aspects are the sports halls at city and colligiate for korfball training they just aren’t big enough

City campus in the heart of the city easy to get too and lots of places in the city to have fun. The teachers give a lot of support during lessons and outside. Classes are detailed and focused on our understanding. The students are all friendly and help eachother.

Student life in this university is really enjoyable! I have found the student events to be the most enjoyable and I have made alot of friends through these events. The one thing i dont love about the university is the location, whilst we are close to a big city, its further away than i realised when i applied for it. Making social nights out that little bit harder. I also feel like theres not much social activities to do in Ormskirk overall.

It’s pretty. I wish they improved more of the facilities in architecture school. Our studios are quite dirty from pervious students so it’s not fair for new students to have a dirty studio when they walk in. Other than that the gym is great but Northumbria has a pool and a sauna and even a climbing wall

The university offers a wide selection of events and activities however commuters don't always know about these events in advance and have already arranged travel home , there for wider broadcasting of events and socials / community based work would be beneficial.

The best aspects are the student union and the facilities available. I think it could be improved if we had more books generally available at the library without requiring click and collect, since right now the library feels like a study space but not a real library.
