My experience at London South Bank University has been overwhelmingly positive, and I truly believe it is a great place to study and grow as a student. One of the best aspects of LSBU is the supportive and approachable staff. Lecturers and academic advisors are always willing to help, whether it’s explaining difficult coursework, giving career advice, or providing guidance during assignments. Their friendly attitude creates a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their studies. Another major strength of LSBU is its focus on practical, career-oriented learning. The university provides modern labs, well-equipped classrooms, and industry-standard facilities that help students gain real-world experience. For many courses, practical sessions, workshops, and hands-on projects make learning more engaging and directly relevant to future careers. This practical approach is one of the main reasons LSBU graduates are well-prepared for the workforce. The location is also a huge advantage. Being in Central London means students have easy access to internships, part-time jobs, networking events, and professional opportunities. Public transport links around the campus are excellent, which makes commuting simple and convenient. The Students’ Union plays an important role in making campus life enjoyable. From cultural celebrations to academic workshops and sports activities, the SU offers something for everyone. It also supports student welfare and actively listens to student concerns. While my experience has been largely positive, there are a few areas that could be improved to make the university experience even better. Administrative processes, such as timetabling or enrollment updates, can sometimes be slow or unclear. Improved communication and faster responses would make things easier for students, especially during busy periods like the start of term. Additionally, although the accommodations are comfortable and close to campus, they can be quite expensive because of the London location. More affordable housing options would be very helpful for students on a tight budget. Lastly, while LSBU already hosts a number of events, increasing the number of career-oriented workshops, industry meetups, and networking sessions would make a big difference. These events help students make valuable connections and understand the professional world more deeply. Overall, London South Bank University offers a strong combination of academic support, practical teaching, modern facilities, and an excellent central London location. The friendly atmosphere, diversity, and active student life create a positive and motivating environment for learning. With a few improvements in communication and affordability, the university could provide an even better experience. Despite those small areas for development, LSBU remains a great place to study, grow, and prepare for future opportunities

The best aspect has definitely been the people and the culture in Liverpool. A vibrant, friendly and diverse environment! The worst aspect has been the weather and limited opportunities for international students to work.

I think I have chosen the best university I love how they support the student how the environment is . It’s fantastic and so friendly for me . Whenever I had i problem I emailed them and they were always available for me through everything from module assignments to helping anything . the next I wanna say is my university teachers they teach quite well I can understand it very easily even in one lecture I can learn all the things that are meant to be learned. And last one is the education system the module lectures and chapters they gave us is very good and helpful for us to understand each and everything about the topic the most important thing for me is educational system and my university Essex online university have the best system I can say that they are amazing teacher amazing students and very helpful stuff always their for us great university for me .

As an international student, one of the most rewarding aspects of my university experience has been the supportive and student-friendly environment. The staff are always willing to help, and there are numerous resources available to assist with academic, personal, and cultural adaptation. The university’s inclusivity is another key strength. It celebrates diversity and provides a space where everyone feels respected and valued, regardless of their background or nationality. This inclusive atmosphere has helped me build meaningful connections and collaborate with people from all over the world, enriching my learning and broadening my perspective. Furthermore, the welcoming and accessible environment has made a huge difference. From orientation events to student societies, there are constant efforts to make international students feel at home. The campus facilities, online learning tools, and support services are highly accessible, ensuring that all students can participate fully in academic and social activities. If I can point out something that can be improved is Food. It’s funny how something as simple as food can make such a big difference in how “at home” you feel in a new country. Encouraging more international food options on campus or hosting cultural food events could make a meaningful (and delicious!) improvement to student life.

I was in the Bedford campus and the student life was limited. This was because many people travelled into uni from their homes. The student union was great at providing activities in the afternoons/ evenings. They also support students. all you have to do is email them or go to social events.

Why do you let school kids into the UNIVERSITY library ? There is a public library 5 mins away, they don’t understand any library etiquette, I’m trying to revise for my fourth year medicine exams and they are chatting on level 5?! And let’s not even get started on level 4 which is meant to be a silent level, sounds like a socialising cafe during exam season. If you’re going to let them in , at least enforce the rules of silent study or say they can only go on one floor. They’re not paying 10K a year so how come they can use the library facilities and disrupt the people who do pay?

The best part of my experience has been the practical approach to learning and the diverse student community, which made it easy to meet people and gain different perspectives. The course helped me build useful, real-world skills. On the downside, some areas could be better organised, and communication at times could be improved. Overall, it’s been a valuable and enriching experience.
