The best feel is that they are very particular about student wellbeing. They take into consideration every student and that makes it feel like a safe environment for students. The worse is having unserious students as classmates who come in to distract others or students who are generally not interested in studying. I would appreciate if those students can be filtered so large group classes can be more productive.

Best: A beautiful campus with a relaxed, coastal atmosphere, great study spaces, and a strong sense of community. The location by the beach is a real highlight, and student support services are approachable and helpful. Worst: Some facilities and services can be slow during busy periods, and campus life can feel quiet outside term time. Better coordination of services and more on-campus activities would improve the experience.

For someone who has to live for the first time away from their family, that too in a new country. Bangor really welcomed me with open arms. From International Student Staff to the fraternity, everyone is so sweet and helpful. I love that they make you feel at home. Even if you’ve the slightest doubt , they are there to help you with it. I’m happy that I’m surrounded by such great people.

Active student unions with over 100 clubs and societies, from sports teams to cultural groups, fostering leadership and networking. Connections worldwide with Vietnam, Rwanda and more places; however, it could increase partnerships.

I've had the best experience, teachers they really care about your feeling about your emotions and you can see they do really care about the students, my 1st year was one of the best ever had and hopefully I will be able to continue and going into the 2nd year

We have access to a wide variety of équipement and connections. We are given time to work on our own projects along with the course work. The international team is not very responsive and hard to get a hold of. Which can make some things difficult for us as international students. There is a constant anxiety about if there’s going to be issues with our visas or things that would put our visas on the line. The lecturers, course leaders, and admissions are super helpful with these issues.

The SU and student life were probably the weakest parts of my university experience, but this is likely in part due to the small size of Aberystwyth. There were a range of societies but many stopped and restarted at various points. The campus has a great atmosphere and is just the right size!
