Social Research postgraduate degrees in Southern England

I have not had any worse experience at UWE rather, it has been a fantastic journey so far since i started my MSC program in January. The environment is conducive for studying and there are up to date facilities to use. WIFI is absolutely awful and there are many dead zones around campus. How can a top-level engineering university provide such poor internet connection, especially when all of our assignments are internet based and due online? I am constantly searching for places around campus with any useable connection and the VPN speeds when you're off campus are just unusable. It's the year 2024. How have we not figured this out yet? It's absolutely unaccusable. You have the money to build an entire new campus, but can't fix the internet at your main campus? Awful.

All staff in university is eager to help you with any kind of questions or problems. At lectures teachers are really engaging and supportive. You never notice how quick time flies during lectures. Especially, before any assignments you are given every detail about it, so you are well prepared and not scared at all. Birkbeck suggests a lot of opportunities for busy social life, where you can meet lots of enthusiastic people, and opportunities for future career such as additional workshops, professional guests, etc. I love being a part of this community!

My best experience at the university of East London is the student hub. Every time when I had any kind of confusion or difficulties, I went to the student hub. Staff at student hub are extremely polite and cooperative. I faced difficulty in finding the lecture class at the university.

The best aspects of the University of Southampton is the great opportunities, e.g. societies and guest talks. I love going sailing on the Solent every other week and frequently running around the beautiful common. Similarly, new guest come to talk about their roles and how to get into their roles which is very beneficial for career development. There are no bad aspects that I have experienced so far.

The location in central London not far from where the UKs decisions are made is amazing. The library has most of the resources I need and if you can’t find something the library staff will happily try and make it available. The thing where the uni lets us down the most is admin.

The people I have met here are so amazing, I feel very safe and comfortable. Testament support are always finding new ways to improve and are continuously raising awareness on what they have on offer and how they are abkd to support every individual

Great buildings and location with great transport links to major cities. Being taught by people who are the best in that field and being able to contribute to their research at an early time in your studies. The tutorial system with very few people in classes making learning much more interactive.
