I think the best one is about how you learn more about the industry work, can easily get access to things and meet new friends that you might keep for life. Worst is when I start not going to lectures , the units become more complicating.

The lecturers explain topics clearly and are always willing to help when students have questions. The campus is peaceful, with good facilities like the library, study rooms, and social spaces, which makes it a comfortable place to learn. I also enjoy meeting classmates from different countries and backgrounds because it helps me learn new ideas and understand different cultures. The teaching style at Roehampton makes learning easier and more enjoyable. Seminars and group activities help me understand the lessons better, and the coursework is practical, helping me connect what I learn to real-life situations. I feel that the university encourages students to think independently and build confidence. Overall, I feel supported in my studies, and this has helped me grow both academically and personally. Even though my experience has been positive, there are some areas that could improve. Sometimes the workload feels heavy, especially when deadlines are close together. Communication about certain tasks or readings can be unclear at times. More career support, part-time job opportunities, and more flexible timetables would also make things easier for students. However, these challenges are common in most universities, and Roehampton still offers a good overall student experience.

The best part of my experience has been the practical approach to learning and the diverse student community, which made it easy to meet people and gain different perspectives. The course helped me build useful, real-world skills. On the downside, some areas could be better organised, and communication at times could be improved. Overall, it’s been a valuable and enriching experience.

No answers to past paper questions making it hard to revise and sometimes coursework deadlines can be unclear also when u have a lecture then a 1 hour break then another lecture can’t rlly get much done in that time

The university has strong student support services, especially the Disability Advice and Support team, who are understanding and helpful. The MSc Project Management course is practical and career-focused. The modules are well-structured, and seminars encourage discussion and real-life application of concepts. The lecturers are approachable and provide useful feedback on assignments. Student life in Leicester is also a positive experience. The city is affordable compared to other UK cities, and everything is accessible. The campus facilities, including the library and study spaces, are modern and comfortable for independent learning. While the university offers good support, sometimes communication about attendance expectations and academic requirements could be clearer, especially for students managing health or personal challenges. In addition, more flexibility in seminar attendance for students with documented disabilities could make the experience less stressful. Providing recorded seminar discussions (where possible) would help students who occasionally cannot attend in person. Overall, De Montfort University is a supportive and career-oriented institution, but improving flexibility and communication would make it even better.

Generally a great collection of faculty and always researching for ways to be more sustainable and inclusive. could be better in providing resources for students in healthcare degrees as career development opportunities are all surrounding corporate career

In terms of what could be improved, there are a few key areas. Communication between departments could sometimes be clearer, especially around deadlines and timetable changes. At busy times of the year, access to study spaces can become limited, and more quiet areas or longer opening hours would make a difference. It would also help if there were more practical, hands-on learning opportunities such as placements, workshops, or industry links, as these really enhance understanding and employability. Overall, the university offers a supportive and stimulating environment, but with better organisation and more resources during peak periods, the student experience could be even stronger.
