What students say about quantity-economics

Careers goes above and beyond with creating network opportunities for peers, and online linked in courses are free with the university students. Academic workshops and Academic advisors are on hand for all students. LAUNCH is amazing space for start ups for students and alumini. Student Progression Advisors (SPAs) are amazing at liasong with disability, academics for interuption of studies, wellbeing support and wirth lecturers. Brilliant for those who are wanting a career change or wanting a top up year to go from level 5 to complete your full BA at level 6. Have 40 courses at Masters level that can provide you with a career change without having to have done a BA prior to this. You just need experience in the field, which you can be advised by the careers @salford team and may need to have done up to level 3 on some or level 4. For the university to have a disability team that has WRAPS in place from the get go, so once you start the uni you already have your accommodations in place in line with DSA and non DSA students, as there are many diagnosed and undiagnosed people. The Safe campus app covers all of the land the university owns to allow for safety for all of its students. More than one quiet relaxed area where you can relax and play with lego and colour and decompress. Liase more as a cohesive cross 6 schools and collaborate more with networks to great a greater alumini and experience for all students with different modules and create further specialisms at BA level. Their are kitchen areas in most if not all buildings, the food is very reasonably priced in the canteens £2 for a jacket potatoes and 2 fillings. Transport links are second to non, many car parks around the two main campuses, unsure about the Media City carpark, but the 50 bee bus network will allow you head from main campus across to media city for free (shuttle service). A little more information on how to balance projects/placements/work, we all undertake outside of uni or for extra with peers work life balance and experience would have been most useful on how to best approach the year ahead. Being able to have ago on technical side, events management, advisory, office dance sector job roles would have been useful, as a sign posting exercise, for the university to create partnerships with organisations for such roles for placements. Being able to do a placement in the 3rd year as an optional module for those who are coming to the BA to do a top up year. Dance lecturers are amazing, supportive and go above and beyond. Would be amazing I feel like there is more cohesion with music and dance departments, than there is with acting and dance department, which is a shame. There is a film and acting networking event, not one for dance and film or acting and dancing.

What students say about quantity-economics

I so far really enjoy my course, I would say the location and general feel make it better than any other option, the variety of places I can just relax and sit down or to study is really nice. If I was to point out any negatives it would be with occasional lessons that have 2 or 3 hour gaps between which feel slightly disjointed
