Psychotherapy postgraduate degrees in Central England

The best is the people and the lecturers. The facilities are vast meaning support is available for many issues not only academic. The place that may need improvement is the social accepts as it may be hard to make connections for many.

The university is amazing.I have attended and visited the university, as a new and foreigner student I was welcomed heartily.The faculty is so helpful.Also the campus is so beautiful and big that I felt really good and relaxed there.Their international ratings,acceptance rate,facilities everything is beyond amazing.I feel very grateful and lucky being a part of this extraordinary university.

The course is taught by amazing lecturers, who are kind and always there to help, however the course is not managed by the best people, and this leads to a lot of poor choices done regarding the course such as the contest which is being taught (with actual lectures, having no say in it) or for example the number of students/ level of students that are in the class. Currently the head of business has decided to add a whole class (+30) of foundation students with year 1 students (level 4) at the start of January without any warning before . This has negatively impacted level 1 students, as the content being shared is not the best, neither are the paste of lectures as the foundation student take too long to complete simple activities that year 1 students complete in minutes. Although year 1 students have expressed their feelings about this to lecturers and the head of business, the head of business refuses to split the class in 2, with excuses that there are not enough free classrooms, which is not true. Further, sad to say this, but my amazing lecturers now seem worried to bring issues up to the heads of business as they could get in trouble or fired. Very unethical and unprofessional. Will be changing universities next year

Location: Situated in Ipswich, it offers a peaceful and safe environment while still having access to necessary amenities and transport links. Areas for Improvement: 1. More Course Variety: Expanding the range of courses and specializations could attract more students with diverse academic interests. 2. Student Life & Activities: While there are clubs and societies, a more vibrant student community with additional events and activities would enhance the overall experience. 3. Accommodation Costs: Housing options could be more affordable, especially for international students. 4. Administrative Efficiency: Some students experience delays in communication and processing of documents; streamlining administrative services would be helpful. Overall Experience: The University of Suffolk offers a great balance between academic quality and a supportive learning environment. With some improvements in student engagement and administration, it could become an even better place to study.

The supervisors, Phd office, students and the university itself have been wonderfully supportive. It is easy to criticise minor issues or those beyond the universities control, but overall it is just a great place to be and study. The Students Union could improve the way it deals with people as I did not find them particularly supportive, but then maybe I caught them on a bad day. I will still give them 4 stars since they mean well.
