Studying at Birmingham Newman University has been a really positive experience overall. Because it’s a smaller university, facilities and resources can feel a bit limited compared to bigger institutions. From my perspective of being a student at coventry university id like to say how good the physical location and quality of all the facilites are. the design, layout, and ease of access for botth the engineering building and the library are excillent, student life here is great too, i currently live in a rental-based accommodation with 4 people, and it works quite well. Personally I couldnt fault the university with anything as I believe it is perfectly equipped to fullfil all its students needs.

I am a mature distance learning student, completing my MA in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics. The online platform is easy to use and the digital library is expansive. All staff have been easy to contact when I need any support, including IT, Finance, Admin, my personal tutor and teaching staff. I have been assigned a mentor to help me stay connected with university life and the Philosophy department. The modules are contemporary, as are the course materials. The student cohort is diverse and we all connect to the course flexibly, from different time zones. I receive a weekly events newsletter which has plenty of options for attending online webinars and socials.

University of Worcester is friendly and inviting , the green spaces are brilliant and really bring a sense of zen to uni life. The students union has a lot to offer and are very supportive. Aswell as this the hangar has everything you need for socialising. The support of staff is second to none . The only thing I would say is the parking is very expensive and sometimes I would prefer all of my course related lectures on one campus rather than split across two

The best aspects are the staff - they're all lovely and very approachable. They respond as quickly as possible and with genuine care. The buildings and resources are all really good and I love the campuses. The worst aspects would probably be the distance between the buildings and having to travel from one campus to another at certain times or moving from one side of the campus to the complete opposite side with 5 minutes to spare.

The environment and atmosphere of the campus is very enjoyable and pleasant. There are many learning areas to do work and chill with friends. In my opinion, although the library is well equipped, it lacks aesthetic appeal. There could be more affordable shops to get quick snacks from.

It is good as there is a plethora of support available for all kinds of needs, however, the learning methods are very monotone and there is no atmosphere in the lessons, but this is largely down to the unenthusiasm of a lot of students. Additionally, the facilities are decent but no better than the ones at I had at college, there is just a greater quantity of them. Given that you have to pay for university but not college, you would expect there to be significantly better facilities at a university compared to a college
