The location in central London not far from where the UKs decisions are made is amazing. The library has most of the resources I need and if you can’t find something the library staff will happily try and make it available. The thing where the uni lets us down the most is admin.

Best - so much engagement, I love how accessible sport is but there’s also so much going on! The student newsletters are useful and they update ongoing events on social media frequently. There’s lots of study spaces around campus as well!

From my perspective of being a student at coventry university id like to say how good the physical location and quality of all the facilites are. the design, layout, and ease of access for botth the engineering building and the library are excillent, student life here is great too, i currently live in a rental-based accommodation with 4 people, and it works quite well. Personally I couldnt fault the university with anything as I believe it is perfectly equipped to fullfil all its students needs.

Best is the people and the quality of the education, worst has to deal with who runs UCL, administration has quite a few dirtbags. Facilitates aren't the greatest. I prefer more of a traditional campus feel and prefer KCL and LSE campus. Still considering coming back to UCL to apply for a LLM, alongside the other London unis, and maybe throw my shot at oxbridge.

My experience at Buckinghamshire New University has been positive overall, especially in terms of the support from lecturers and the sense of community on campus. The teaching on my course feels practical and career‑focused, with staff who are approachable and willing to give detailed feedback when asked. Facilities are generally good for the size of the university, and the smaller cohort means it is easier to get to know people and access help when needed. The main issues for me have been parking and internet services. Parking spaces can be difficult to find at busy times, which is frustrating if you commute by car and need to arrive for early lectures. The internet on campus can also be unreliable or slow at peak times, which makes it harder to access online learning materials or submit work. Overall, I would recommend Bucks to students who prefer a more personal, close‑knit environment rather than a huge campus, and who value supportive staff and practical learning. As with any university, it is important to be proactive, use the support on offer, and get involved in activities to make the most of the experience.

best - how active the SU is, though this is still not as good as it could be. General student support services are incredible. The academic staff that I have come into contact with are amazing and clearly care so much about their students - a complete contrast to university management who clearly could not care less about students, their welfare and their educational experience worst - university cutbacks - all of the cuts are financially unnecessary and are hollowing out the university, making students' experience worse and removing so many of the courses, staff and opportunities that make the university world renowned. Accessibility is also vastly varied between departments, and as a disabled politics student I haven't felt very supported by the departments processes etc despite the incredible academics who go above and beyond to ensure I am getting the most out of my education

The best part of my uni experience has been the supportive staff — you can easily talk to them, ask questions, and book office hours for 1-to-1 conversations, plus there are plenty of resources to help you learn better.
