Studying in a diverse community has also helped me grow in confidence and cultural awareness. The most challenging aspect has been balancing academic responsibilities with part-time work and managing living costs, especially as an international student. While support services are available, clearer guidance on financial support, employability opportunities, and tailored support for international students would further improve the overall experience. Overall, the university is a great place to study, and enhanced support in these areas would make the student experience even stronger.

The facilities are modern and well-equipped, especially the libraries and study spaces, which make it easy to focus on coursework. I also like the friendly atmosphere on campus — it feels welcoming and inclusive. There are tons of opportunities to get involved eg student union, career development opportunities which can help students with confidence. The onsite shops are quite expensive- which can be difficult as a student. Also, joining unions could be made more accessible for students who commute.

The University has lots of resources and study spaces. I love the fact that I can borrow a laptop for 24hours. There is a lot of student support in terms of CV writing and also academic support via mentors.
