Pharmacology postgraduate degrees in South East England

Best is probably sports culture, I love the sports culture. The worst is probably campus not being like them American style campuses as I would have loved one of those with more greenery but that’s me being picky

there is a place for everyone. It doesn't matter where youre from or how intro or extrovert someone is, you will always find people. and not just people there is always so much going on in the uni, to protect both your physical and mental health. couldn't ask for more

It offers a full range of courses relating to Science. And in the course that I am currently doing, the modules have been changed to be more reflective of what employers want when you graduate, as well as it being reflective of core skills needed for almost every aspect of Biology and Chemistry.

Professors and other teaching Staff is pretty chill they don't judge or shame they smile and try to solve your problems. My professor is well respected in our industry but still some time goof around with sometime he is funny tbh. Student union of university is always active and trying to help student they plans events and there are so many groups that you can join to chill while doing something productive. there are every facility imaginable plus more . Campus is good but Portsmouth university’s buildings are spread throughout the city. While this makes you feel like part of the city, it can lead to a lot of walking between lectures if your classes aren't all in one block. While more affordable than London, the popularity of the city means that private rental prices are rising, and finding high-quality accommodation outside of halls like Rees Hall can be competitive.

What makes my uni a great place to study is their student support. They try to help their students in any way possible to ensure that students get the best out of their education. I think it would be better if the university put more effort into societies and clubs such as sporting clubs and teams . It would help the university to have more of a community and really showcase other talents other than what students already study on their courses. My university do have societies and some sporting teams, however some of the societies don’t run anymore and it’s not made to be as big as it was when I first heard about it before I joined uni. I think it’s important to have that feel of community and university culture and to also show the inclusiveness of different cultures, groups and activities in which people associate them selves with.

The campus itself is really lovely and green, and it just feels like a really safe and open space to live. The library is also amazing, with so many study spaces, both silent and group spaces. It could be improved by security and the wardens taking issues more seriously, as the slowness of security meant that flat issues were not resolved quick enough.
