I'm an optometry student entering my third year in September 2024. The lecturers are very nice and supportive; however, the optometry students in Group C are extremely rude, disrespectful, and lack any sort of manners. Many of them speak poorly of you if you fall behind or are slow in your routine, and they refuse to collaborate despite knowing that practice is essential for skill improvement.

The staff I have met so far as well as the facilities available (especially Adsetts Library & the new buildings) have been amazing and have provided an excellent environment for learning. I will say though that this review is incomplete, mainly due to the fact that the Student Union is in the process of moving location and so I haven't experienced it a lot. There is a cost of living shop though and the staff are really nice.

The campus at EdgeHill is lovely and the accommodation is some of the best I've seen in the country. The lecturers on my course are extremely supportive and kind and have really boosted my confidence in my subject.

I've loved studying at the University of Plymouth so far! Staff are really friendly and have always been really happy to help. The SU is great for relaxing between lectures during the day as well as for clubbing on a Saturday night. I'm also really enjoying my course and Plymouth is in a great location to try out fieldwork in different habitats.

The support Brighton Uni has given me so much support with this course and made it very clear who to contact if any issues arise. I also know from friends how incredibly supportive and sympathetic the uni has been when they have experienced personal issues. This is my second Uni I have studied at, and Brighton is far better with the support it gives its students compared to the first one.

Best: “The best thing about Middlesex University is how diverse and international it is. You meet people from all over the world, which makes campus life really vibrant and gives you a chance to learn about so many different cultures.” Worst: “The worst thing is that sometimes communication about attendance isn’t very clear. It can be a bit frustrating trying to make sure everything is correctly recorded, even though you’ve attended all your lectures.”

London is a multicultural society. Students from different countries come here to study. So studying in London met makes me experience different cultures heritage and new languages. I love studying in London met and the teaching staff is helpful and friendly.

Since joining this year for my masters on what is the first year that the course has been run, lecturers have been great, content has been great and the communication between students and the university regarding covid and the constantly changing situation that we have found ourselves in has been excellent. Whilst it has not been possible to meet many students at the Uni socially there have been many social events run over zoom to get involved with and I feel they have made the best of an unprecedented situation.

Best is the people and the quality of the education, worst has to deal with who runs UCL, administration has quite a few dirtbags. Facilitates aren't the greatest. I prefer more of a traditional campus feel and prefer KCL and LSE campus. Still considering coming back to UCL to apply for a LLM, alongside the other London unis, and maybe throw my shot at oxbridge.

The best part is when I got to meet people from different backgrounds and I’ve interacted with people I wouldn’t normally interact with, The Nile website is sometimes confusing, and the lectures aren’t always helpful.
