What students say about occupational-therapy

It is a great learning environment with many modern and innovative buildings throughout the campus. I personally have found strathclyde to help me develop my skills in not only my degree subjects but so too with my confidence, communication and interpersonal skills. If i was to improve strathclyde i would say they could make the union bigger and expand services such as cafes and restaurants throughout the campus.

It's really great because the modules are interesting and the content is accessible. Teachers are supportive and societies are good. It could be improved by being more true to its environmentalist message considering its acceptance of Ai. Also on campus accomodation has some reoccurring issues with showers going cold due to the heating aspect of the showers being old.

What students say about occupational-therapy

Societies should spread their events out more as they all usually fall on the same day at the same time, also, abertay should make it easier to find events going on as I see things on posters but never online. Theres alot of construction around but overall the campas is nice, especially Annies which is the uni's cafe. There's a lot of things to do around here as well and they do have a lot of support around although I haven't used many of them.

What students say about occupational-therapy

I love the city in general. The University's libraries are good. with proper facilities that I can use, such as discussion rooms, computers, printers, even 3D printer! Some buildings look so old but in positive ways, make them look classic and cultured. However, in my own experience, some classrooms are a little bit aged. i mean, like some chairs are feel old, they are sometimes kind of wobbly, and some of them do not have enough leg room. Main library can be crowded when exam days come, but I think that is something that can not be avoided. i think it is good to add some space for classrooms or some like study hubs.

What students say about occupational-therapy

It's very focused on it's programmes and wants to get the best out of people and give them skills they need to succeed in their chosen profession. However, when initially starting, staff could be more present and offer better support for struggling students, especially in regards to paperwork and necessary tasks required for your programme.

What students say about occupational-therapy

The students at our university are the most important people on campus. Our university is very good at putting the students first and allowing them to have their say. Furthermore, there is a multitude of opportunities for staff and students to work together making the campus feel more like a community. I myself have worked with the Comms; Events; People and Wellbeing teams allowing me to form close bonds with facility.
