Music Studies postgraduate degrees in Scotland

There are so many places to study and just chill on campus. Be it the cafes and restaurants around or the university buildings. It’s really really clean and tidy too. The staff here are so nice too really kind. Overall super nice uni would decide to study here again. An improvement id really appreciate is recorded tutorials since I think they’re really fast. The help desk online isn’t really helpful.

Studying at University of Aberdeen has been a truly rewarding experience because of its supportive academic environment, knowledgeable staff, and diverse international community. The university encourages independent thinking and research development while also providing students with guidance and opportunities to grow both academically and personally. One area that could always be further improved is expanding student support and social spaces even more, but overall it remains an inspiring and welcoming place to study.

University of the West of Scotland (UWS) has always been a welcoming institution that actively encourages students to better themselves both personally and academically. Multiple opportunities are made available to benefit students in various ways - whether it be casual jobs that earn some extra money without having a detrimental impact upon studies or extra classes to recap challenging topics or provide additional qualifications such as secondary language, First Aid, etc. However, due to the size of UWS (spread across four campuses), there is a clear lack of communication amongst staff and this ultimately affects students. The focus appears to be on the main campus (Paisley) and students on other campuses may feel isolated.

I love the city in general. The University's libraries are good. with proper facilities that I can use, such as discussion rooms, computers, printers, even 3D printer! Some buildings look so old but in positive ways, make them look classic and cultured. However, in my own experience, some classrooms are a little bit aged. i mean, like some chairs are feel old, they are sometimes kind of wobbly, and some of them do not have enough leg room. Main library can be crowded when exam days come, but I think that is something that can not be avoided. i think it is good to add some space for classrooms or some like study hubs.
