The best aspects would be how nice and respectful the student body is, the size of the campus you could never get bored of it and how peaceful the campus and university accommodation area is. Best aspects: The university provides a supportive learning environment with helpful lecturers and good academic resources. The campus is generally welcoming, and there are plenty of opportunities to develop skills both academically and personally. Worst aspects / Improvements: One issue that needs improvement is the heating and hot water system, as it does not always work properly. At times, students only have access to cold water, which can be uncomfortable and difficult, especially for students who are sensitive or have health issues related to cold temperatures. Ensuring reliable heating and hot water would greatly improve student comfort and wellbeing.

The University has lots of resources and study spaces. I love the fact that I can borrow a laptop for 24hours. There is a lot of student support in terms of CV writing and also academic support via mentors.

Earlier in my degree there was a lot of uncertainty within the forensic cohort especially surrounding lecturer instability. We still see it now with lecturers having to teach modules that are not related to their dedicated area. However, this has not impeded my request for help and support from them but it would be useful to allocate staffing with the school of psychology to their specific area of expertise. From a student welfare perspective…the services are accessible and easy to access. They have helped me tremendously through hard times of student and balancing external family commitments.

I enjoyed the course and it’s structure. I believe, that it set me up well for my research project and gave me the skills that employers are looking for. The worse aspect was the lack of time for activities outside of studying. Lectures and assignments took up most of the day and evening, especially during coursework and exam season.

The best aspect has definitely been the people and the culture in Liverpool. A vibrant, friendly and diverse environment! The worst aspect has been the weather and limited opportunities for international students to work.

Facilities
Loughborough is very accessible and has lots to offer solely on the campus, luckily it’s only a short walk into town for more as well! I do think some sort of student bus card for the sprint bus when going into town would be great as a trip is £3.

Great buildings and location with great transport links to major cities. Being taught by people who are the best in that field and being able to contribute to their research at an early time in your studies. The tutorial system with very few people in classes making learning much more interactive.
