The people here are really nice and excited to learn and it’s perfect that the location is so good so you can go out with friends from this uni and other unis nearby. I wish the facilities were a bit more modernized and new. There’s no AC in the Library and rooms look old.

The lectures in my course are very helpful and always get back to you when you have questions. We have good weeks timetabling where we have online lessons and in person and we start at a nice time as well which gives people time to travel. Our lectures give us PowerPoints which we can also look at when at home for more revision. The university is big and is a couple bus stops from train stations which is helpful as well. There is lots of places to get food and they have a wide variety of things.

I was in the Bedford campus and the student life was limited. This was because many people travelled into uni from their homes. The student union was great at providing activities in the afternoons/ evenings. They also support students. all you have to do is email them or go to social events.

I think the best one is about how you learn more about the industry work, can easily get access to things and meet new friends that you might keep for life. Worst is when I start not going to lectures , the units become more complicating.

The best part of my experience has been the practical approach to learning and the diverse student community, which made it easy to meet people and gain different perspectives. The course helped me build useful, real-world skills. On the downside, some areas could be better organised, and communication at times could be improved. It's a brilliant location - a mix between city and a town. Safe town for students with limited nigh out facilities, but the ones present seem to be active in scheduling events. The campus is beautiful and accessible. The employability team is brilliant in organising placement opportunities for all students and providing feedback on CV and providing support throughout. However, more work can be put in by professors to provide better feedback on assignments before and after submission.

Genuinely speaking, my university, UWE Bristol, is a very good place for cultural fusion and is comfortable for people from every corner of the world. It allows me to learn about different cultures and meet different people, helping me build a good understanding with everyone, which will be very helpful for my future career. However, if I talk about the negative aspects of my university, there are not many major issues. I believe the support team and the administrative staff who handle student matters need to be more accurate and supportive. If they act more efficiently, students will feel more comfortable dealing with different situations. As international students, the education system and university environment are quite new to us, so we need strong support from the university body.

The actual university was fine. The new building has a lot of great facilities but some of them can only be used by people from that actual course. Sewing machines and work spaces can get really busy. Nice interior design and layout.
