Legal Studies postgraduate degrees in Southern England

I have not had any worse experience at UWE rather, it has been a fantastic journey so far since i started my MSC program in January. The environment is conducive for studying and there are up to date facilities to use. I believe there will be room for improvement in some places but i am not sure yet as i just started my program in January and still exploring but so far so good, it has been a fantastic journey and i look forward to many more memories at the Uni...

a lovey campus and area for people not big on huge city universities, however the course has now been axed, meaning my year will miss out on key features due to no new year of students arriving next year

Best aspect is easily location. It’s close by and all the cafes and shops are close enough to grab a bit between lectures There isn’t really a worst aspect I can think of yet. It feels great to be a part of the university. I shall have to see as assessments near and the course progresses

Firstly, the University location is good because it is near a train station, so makes it easier for commuting students to attend all their timetabled lectures, labs, and seminars. The University also have great facilities such as many scientific equipment for experiments that most schools don't have access to or can't afford it. There are also many designated areas for students to hang out in, helping create a sense of community and a way to socialise. The lectures and course directors in the CCCU'S FSESS department are amazing. They always are willing to talk to you about their subject and help in any way possible, not to mention they are very friendly and make it easy for students to feel comfortable enough to talk to them. Finally, the Science, WECS, and Geography courses are much more hands on than other Universities, and Sixth form. With a plethora of lab sessions and fieldwork to take part in every semester.

WIFI is absolutely awful and there are many dead zones around campus. How can a top-level engineering university provide such poor internet connection, especially when all of our assignments are internet based and due online? I am constantly searching for places around campus with any useable connection and the VPN speeds when you're off campus are just unusable. It's the year 2024. How have we not figured this out yet? It's absolutely unaccusable. You have the money to build an entire new campus, but can't fix the internet at your main campus? Awful.

What makes my uni a great place to study is their student support. They try to help their students in any way possible to ensure that students get the best out of their education. I think it would be better if the university put more effort into societies and clubs such as sporting clubs and teams . It would help the university to have more of a community and really showcase other talents other than what students already study on their courses. My university do have societies and some sporting teams, however some of the societies don’t run anymore and it’s not made to be as big as it was when I first heard about it before I joined uni. I think it’s important to have that feel of community and university culture and to also show the inclusiveness of different cultures, groups and activities in which people associate them selves with.
