Law postgraduate degrees in Central England

I have been offered an incredible amount of support from the university so far. I have gone from 52% in my first assignment to 85% in my last, this demonstrates the level of constructive feedback given and the opportunities for academic development at ARU. The professors have always been approachable and are continuously looking for you to advance professionally. I cant fault the facilities, nothing exceptional or awful about them. Aesthetically, the university isn't particularly inspiring and on the winter days it can look especially run down. Running the society's need to serious incentivising, for the last two years the psychology society hasn't been running because there isn't anyone who wants to put their name forward.

University is so expensive I can't afford to go out or go to events. The campus living in a cramped bedroom is twice as expensive as living in a house in the city. Other than that the course is good and UEA is nicely situated with access to the city.

The library is brilliant, open 24/7 and the staff are really helpful. My course and the staff on my course were excellent and always willing to meet or discuss anything at all, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are great and they’re always improving them too, and the campus has lots of green space and spots to sit outside too.

The facilities at DMU are top notch and I’m always so thankful for the extended opening times for the learning spaces ( especially the late night opening at the Vijay Patel building and 24/7 Kimberlin Library) The way in which the course has been structured so far has been so well paced and enjoyable, I love that to a degree we are able to be independent in our learning while always still having support available. The way our timetables are structured is also really interesting - groups of students are constantly being mixed and changes so you really get to know everyone on your course!

I appreciate that there are lots of opportunities to get involved with sport or different societies as well as general SU events open to all students. My lecturers are very knowledgeable and the campus both students and staff is very diverse and representative of all. I do not feel the gym facilities are suitable for a school of this size. I would appreciate better facilities for fitness overall. Additionally, blades appears to favour certain sports over others. Finally, I do not feel the hours of the Essex store (where you get Essex jumpers etc) are conducive to students schedules. I often am in class all day and when I finish lessons the store is closed and I am therefore never really able to go inside and look around.

The campus at the University of Nottingham is a beautiful place to be able to complete my studies. It has a welcoming and homely feeling. Facilities such as the David Ross Sports Centre and both libraries make it easy for me to complete extra activities such as netball and going to the gym, along with great places to study. Improvements involving the student union could be made, as I found it difficult to find out information about this. However, I couldn’t fault any other aspect of the University.

Novel educational techniques that train you to answer real world problems, providing good facilities for students. It provides so many facilities to students. The education system is based on individual learning experiences which can help students to develop their skills using all the facilities provided. In term of improvement there’s so many different cultures. If there’s more opportunities for students to mix and get to know each other it will be better.

I love studying at Birmingham Medical school as it is really close to my accommodation (only a 10 minute walk) and it near the main uni campus (5 minutes away from the centre). It is a great medical school with fabulous teaching.

Why it’s a great place to study is because it has modern facilities, it has industrial connections and also the lecturers are willing to be there for the students. About improvement I think the school should create a way where students can look out for each other willing

The best aspects of university include opportunities for intellectual growth and exploration. There’s access to a range of diverse resources to engage in hands on research and practical experiences to enhance my career prospects. Social life is rich and is definitely one of the best things about uni! I have met people from various backgrounds and cultures which had helped me broaden my perspective and increase my confidence. The worst aspects of uni life is probably something that is not often mentioned - the competitive nature of university which sometimes makes me feel inadequate and have a little imposter syndrome, especially as I sometimes have financial and environmental constraints which cause me to not have an equal chance at achieving my potential.
