Across the university, students have access to over 500 computers, free Wi-Fi, and loanable laptops. Media equipment, including camcorders and dictaphones, is also available, with digital editing software installed on all library PCs. The university boasts a variety of specialist facilities tailored to different disciplines. For instance, the Oxstalls campus houses the Business School and Growth Hub, featuring a live trading room, innovative teaching spaces, and a moot court room. The best aspects of the University of Southampton is the great opportunities, e.g. societies and guest talks. I love going sailing on the Solent every other week and frequently running around the beautiful common. Similarly, new guest come to talk about their roles and how to get into their roles which is very beneficial for career development. There are no bad aspects that I have experienced so far.

So far everything is fine. The lecturers are really helpful and won't make you feel insecure about your knowledge. There is just some problems oh terms of timetable management, but for now everything seems great.

The best is the people and the lecturers. The facilities are vast meaning support is available for many issues not only academic. The place that may need improvement is the social accepts as it may be hard to make connections for many.

The campus is easily accessible by bus and also offers a car park, getting to campus is so easy and convenient and the area is a lot quieter as it’s not central, they offer an app where you can earn points when you buy from the food places in the uni the points turn into money which u can then spend, the thing I found the hardest was getting around I would’ve enjoyed a tour on my first day it would’ve made me feel less nervous but the people at reception are happy to help the support from my lectures especially my personal tutor has been amazing I couldn’t have picked a uni more convenient for me.

The staff and students around the campus are always so welcoming and friendly. It really makes me enjoy where I’m studying. I think something that could be improved is the university’s response to student based issues.
