What students say about humanities

The University offers state of the art facilities and faculty and striving hard to let the student have great experience of university life. I would request to collaborate with industries and help international student gain internships and part time work experience current career space is not that collaborative with industries or one on one with students effectively. Rest a great learning experience highly recommended.

What students say about humanities

I attended this university for my undergraduate degree over a decade ago, and I cherished my experience then just as much as I do now. Currently, I find myself in a different phase of life as a mature student with a young family. Nevertheless, I believe that the student experience and facilities continue to meet my needs, even as they differ from those I had during my undergraduate studies. Across all campuses, the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The environment is clean and well-maintained, fostering a strong sense of pride among both students and staff. Overall, the university feels safe and inclusive. I wouldn't say there is a worst aspect of my university experience, as I feel it meets my expectations at this stage in my career and life.

What students say about humanities

From my perspective of being a student at coventry university id like to say how good the physical location and quality of all the facilites are. the design, layout, and ease of access for botth the engineering building and the library are excillent, student life here is great too, i currently live in a rental-based accommodation with 4 people, and it works quite well. Personally I couldnt fault the university with anything as I believe it is perfectly equipped to fullfil all its students needs.

the campus being all in one and not spread out across the city makes it lovely and accessible!! I love the aesthetic on campus aswell with the lovely redbricks. However, the med school campus is much older and a bit rundown in some areas, i wish it were as modern and aesthetic as some buildings on main campus. Also the food options are a bit expensive, we are students after all lol

The environment and atmosphere of the campus is very enjoyable and pleasant. There are many learning areas to do work and chill with friends. In my opinion, although the library is well equipped, it lacks aesthetic appeal. There could be more affordable shops to get quick snacks from.

What students say about humanities

Honestly, this area is very safe and tranquil in comparison to the rest of Birmingham, I really feel like it allows me to focus on my studies here more. However sometimes I feel as though lecturers don’t even know what they are doing, sometimes I feel like they are just straight up reading the PowerPoint. I do make the time outside of school to learn more.

What students say about humanities

Although I dont get a lot of contact time with the university, i have found the experiences i have had to be really, thoroughly supportive, with excellent communication and troubleshooting. the teaching has been fantastic. the campus is clean and all of the facilities are modern and impressive. the library has been super easy to access and use when ive needed it. i dont have much engagement with the SU or student life so find it hard to comment, but from what i have seen i am very impressed and i think i would have been very happy undertaking a full time course here, especially for my undergraduate. I always talk very highly of Aston university. it is also very well placed, a short walk from the train station, and near to the city centre. for my course, it is amazing that it has a hotel on campus, as this makes everything a lot easier when i visit. i imagine the student accommodations are really nice too. overall, i have been more than impressed with the university, having my own undergraduate university to compare it to - it is much more personal and you feel a lot more directly supported and not just like a number in the system.

What students say about humanities

The University of Staffordshire has a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The lecturers are passionate and always willing to help, and the campus has a real community feel where you never feel like “just another student.” The facilities are modern, and the hands-on teaching style makes you feel prepared for real-world work. There’s also a great balance between academic support and social life, which really helps you settle in and enjoy the experience. And how could it be improved? Communication between departments could sometimes be smoother, especially around deadlines or timetable changes. More study spaces during peak times would also be helpful. And while the support services are great, extending their availability during exam periods would make a big difference.
