Hospitality and Catering postgraduate degrees

Every thing seems to be perfect like the facilities, Location,and Student support but along with all of these for a student mostly who in their masters whats to experiences their unversity campus life. My personal feeling is that the campus environment doesn't makes me feel like an university. I know it is diffcult to have a free campus place in a busy city like London. But i just want to share my thoughts and iam truly happy with my tutors i want to appreciate them.

Energy on prospect and Employability getting bigger everyday Worst Inclusion and Diversity for International Student is not deeply rooted. Students voice and student Union seems not advocate for student. Frost and synergy on Graduate Research Student or School for great support is not there yet.

Great all round university with great balance of city and rurally located. Transport wise, its great within city. Although, it lacks proper parking for rurally located people (where public transport is not an option/viable option) as requires permit. To resolve this, a multistory carpark could be implemented or more bus links/shuttlebuses from locations outside of the city. The lack of public transport outside the city is a problem anyway, so may be worth considering relocating to city for duration of course. With regards to course, having already been a student previously, there are a lot more support systems in place to help aid students. Moreover, compared to other universities, the staff are more than happy to help. The small knit feel of the University and the city provides a homely lifestyle, easily and effortlessly. This is only furthered by the diversity of culture within the city and shire. The union is great, the staff are approachable and friendly. From initially becoming a student to my time here now, however, the union seems to be downsizing. I feel that this is an absolute shame as it provides an independent aspect to life as a student. It, in my opinion, has reduced the quality of student life as it miminises a student voice, independent of the university. That being said, there is a great range of mental health facilities in place now to enhance student lifestyle auch as free gym membership for students.

The university is award winning and is well connected to major cities like Leeds and Manchester as well as having a new building for health sciences, Daphne Steele. an improvement i would love to see if more social events throughout the year as if you miss freshers week it is difficult to make friends.

Best aspects are the fact there's facilities like lockers and study spaces to facilitate all your needs improvements would be learning about opportunities like summer placements or edge award earlier in the course

I love the campus and the fact that i am very close to so many services. I can walk to town and to buy my groceries from the stag hill campus. The sports park is also really good. I just wish the gym was bigger. For the IsC they don’t have a set time table for the whole semester which is very inconvenient as i cannot make plans in advance.
