- Best: My first impression of the university was how beautiful it looked with a lot of trees and animals like different kinds of birds, ducks, swans, and squirrels. Although it gets extremely cold in winter and we rarely see the sun, when we do, the scenery is mesmerizing. Thus, I've met and become acquaintances with some of the most amazing people here at the university, not only are they diligent and devoted to their work but are also fun to hang out with. Everyone here is too friendly to be true, even the lecturers/ teachers. The student support team is amazing too, they checked in on me every Wednesday when I was an under-18 student. - Worst: A girl from my flat took the wrong room key and we had to switch rooms because she'd already finished decorated her room. Her dad took my blankets and duvet set I bought from uni too... but the girl paid me back and I bought new ones. Problems solved

Student friendly campus with all facilities required for a student and accessible to every stuff provided by the university. The student union is also cooperative and encouraging every student to participate in every activities conducted by the university of the societies belong to the university. Overall a good pick for my studies and can be recommended to other people tooo

As a student at the University of Sunderland, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The faculty members demonstrate a genuine commitment to student success, fostering a supportive learning environment (an example being the feed forward targets on every assignment to help me improve on the next). The campus facilities are modern and well-maintained, offering state-of-the-art resources for both academic and extracurricular activities. I appreciate the university's dedication to diversity and inclusion, creating an inclusive atmosphere that celebrates students from various backgrounds (as an international student, i have benefited a lot in other to deal with culture shock). The availability of support services, including excellent academic advising and career counseling, has been instrumental in my personal and academic development (i have also enjoyed the one - on - one study skills appointment with library officials). Furthermore, the university's intervention through the English for Academic Purpose modules have shaped and made my learning process easier as an international student. Overall, the University of Sunderland has exceeded my expectations, providing a comprehensive and enriching educational experience.
