UCLan is a great place to study because of its friendly staff, diverse student community, and excellent facilities like the library and sports centre. It provides strong academic and personal support. One area for improvement could be creating more study spaces during exam periods and adding more campus events to bring students together.

The best aspects are the student union and the facilities available. I think it could be improved if we had more books generally available at the library without requiring click and collect, since right now the library feels like a study space but not a real library.

Its location near Manchester provides access to a vibrant city, diverse culture, and many professional networks, while the campus itself offers supportive learning spaces, libraries, and collaborative environments. However, it could be improved by expanding student support services, increasing study and social spaces during busy periods, and providing more affordable accommodation options to better support students’ wellbeing and academic success.

The university also provides good academic support services and career guidance, helping students improve employability. Meanwhile, for something to improve the best will be expanding networking opportunities with more industry professionals and increasing internship connections would further enhance our careers.

The focused student support is what makes it stand out. Because in the university there are not a lot of students and attention of the professor doesnt get divided. You can get personalised guidance and this thing is gold to grab more and more opportunities in your career.

Bolton public library is amazing. Easy access to student services, fun events, and the library and campus is great, open after hours. I’ve personally found my course isn’t the most organised, but otherwise I am loving it.
