I think the best one is about how you learn more about the industry work, can easily get access to things and meet new friends that you might keep for life. Worst is when I start not going to lectures , the units become more complicating.

Obviously studying during the pandemic has been a challenge. The school does have a major issue with organisation and communication. However, I’ve met some great people through this course and had a lot of fun. We got to experience filmmaking modules as well as the acting modules which was a great opportunity.

The best parts of my university experience have been the modern facilities, supportive staff, and great location. The campus looks welcoming, and the student union offers plenty of societies and events, which makes it easy to get involved. However, it could be improved by offering more affordable food options on campus and extending library opening hours during exam periods.

The labs on level 8 are really really good facilities lots of opportunities to improve in lab skills, the worst aspects are the sports halls at city and colligiate for korfball training they just aren’t big enough

- the university has really good transport links with 2 train stations within walking distance, regular buses & a bus station within walking distance - the university is very close to the city centre, supermarkets & retail parks - sports facilities with a pool are within walking distance and there is a gym onsite - most programme staff are supportive and passionate about their subject - the student support functions are excellent and health & wellbeing is prioritised - the university could be improved with better parking facilities for those who can’t travel by public transport - the wifi on campus is notoriously poor & this seriously impacts students and staff - while the facilities are really improving, there is still a way to go to make them all fit for purpose - the university looks to be eco-friendly & promoting sustainable living by having recycling receptacles around campus but needs to be more proactive in encouraging people to bring their own cups etc & should be installing solar panels and wind turbines where possible. - better links with industry need to be fostered to ensure that courses are fit for purpose and for the future to ensure economic growth further the region and so that graduates have usable degrees

Studying subjects I genuinely cared about was incredibly rewarding. Unlike school, university allowed deep exploration of ideas, debates, and specializations. Whether you’re diving into philosophy at places like University of Oxford or engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, that freedom to focus intensely on your interests is empowering.

As an international Environmental Management student, my time at Plymouth has been defined by two things: academic freedom and incredible support. When I faced significant personal loss and financial struggles that impacted my attendance, the faculty didn't write me off they gave me the flexibility to recover and succeed. The course itself is far more than just exams. I was able to lead complex, consultancy-style projects (like my work on Singapore Heat Stress policies) that felt like real professional work, not just coursework. The resources in the Marine Building and library are top-tier for anyone willing to push themselves. Plymouth offers a rare balance: it challenges you intellectually to reach distinction levels, but supports you personally when life gets hard. Highly recommended for students who want resilience alongside their degree.

What makes UWE such a great place for study for me are the people. The teachers and the staff are supportive, inspiring, passionate and helpful people. The campus is very welcoming, lively and safe. The theatre in which we have most of our classes is creative and vibrant space.

Best is the people and the quality of the education, worst has to deal with who runs UCL, administration has quite a few dirtbags. Facilitates aren't the greatest. I prefer more of a traditional campus feel and prefer KCL and LSE campus. Still considering coming back to UCL to apply for a LLM, alongside the other London unis, and maybe throw my shot at oxbridge.

The best aspects are the student union and the facilities available. I think it could be improved if we had more books generally available at the library without requiring click and collect, since right now the library feels like a study space but not a real library.
