Environmental Science postgraduate degrees

Durham is a beautiful city and university with great social opportunities. The traditions are very strong at this school. It feels today like how Oxford and Cambridge were twenty years ago. Sometimes administration can be a challenge, many people have difficulty in knowing how to pay tuition and the university is slow to respond to emails. Also, there are far too many international students and just students in general. The university’s expansion plans are causing a drop in the school’s national and international rankings and causing the university to be in danger of losing its character.

Studying part-time for my MBA at Warwick University has been transformative, offering a rigorous academic experience with unmatched flexibility to balance my career and studies. While the program is highly supportive, an enhancement in digital collaboration tools (myWBS platform's live blackboard is only accessible from certain browsers on mobile) could streamline remote interactions even further, making group work and learning even more efficient and convenient respectively. Warwick’s MBA has equipped me with the strategic thinking and skills to drive meaningful change in today’s dynamic business landscape.

Great buildings and location with great transport links to major cities. Being taught by people who are the best in that field and being able to contribute to their research at an early time in your studies. The tutorial system with very few people in classes making learning much more interactive.

The location in central London not far from where the UKs decisions are made is amazing. The library has most of the resources I need and if you can’t find something the library staff will happily try and make it available. The thing where the uni lets us down the most is admin.

Isolating at first. Need to find friends quick or everyone will gwt into their own groups and itll be awkward trying to join in. Lots of online stuff and few hours axtually on campus - was surprising how little you have schedueled compared to 6th form.

The best aspect of my University is their Student support and I rate them the best in this regard, while their grading system is a bit too conservative, and I would wish that they become a little more liberal with marks/grades.

Great support and surrounding. Love the greens and parks around the campus making relaxing and beautiful. Has a lot of study places such as in the nature, in cafes and library. There's good support from both lecturers and staff.

I like how everything is on campus, convenient, I love the study spaces available at varying levels of quietness. The student union is cheap but could do with a bit of updating. I like the assessments we are given, a variety like presentations and essays writing blogs however the feedback could be more informative. I definitely miss home more than I thought so I wish I had chosen a closer uni most of my friends are off campus which makes the weekends and evenings lonely.
