For someone who has to live for the first time away from their family, that too in a new country. Bangor really welcomed me with open arms. From International Student Staff to the fraternity, everyone is so sweet and helpful. I love that they make you feel at home. Even if you’ve the slightest doubt , they are there to help you with it. I’m happy that I’m surrounded by such great people.

Great teaching, student support, night life and pub scene. Beach very close and always easy to get away from the city to go for a walk etc. good sports but lacking high level. SU is fine but inconsistent

I have enjoyed the social aspects such as meeting new people. I have also enjoyed my course so far as there is a wide range of activities. There could be more guidance on second year housing as it can be quite hard to look so early on when you don't know people as well.

A nice and quiet environment conducive to focusing on academic goals, with a range of supportive structures. It could do with stronger communication across multiple platforms and better marketing of the very helpful opportunities available at the different facilities.
