Education Studies postgraduate degrees in Scotland

Studying at University of Aberdeen has been a truly rewarding experience because of its supportive academic environment, knowledgeable staff, and diverse international community. The university encourages independent thinking and research development while also providing students with guidance and opportunities to grow both academically and personally. One area that could always be further improved is expanding student support and social spaces even more, but overall it remains an inspiring and welcoming place to study.

A lot of the courses aren't really standardised. Some use Moodle a lot, some don't. Though that might also be the lecturers trying to customise it to their teaching style. Lecturers are a mixed bag. Some read directly from slides, others actually try and engage with the class. Depends on what subject.

It is a great learning environment with many modern and innovative buildings throughout the campus. I personally have found strathclyde to help me develop my skills in not only my degree subjects but so too with my confidence, communication and interpersonal skills. If i was to improve strathclyde i would say they could make the union bigger and expand services such as cafes and restaurants throughout the campus.

Great place to study; staff is awesome and courses are engaging. As for improvement, better health services, especially for mental health. Some of the underlying things are not what they seem: i.e. lecturers have to strike every semester just to get paid and the school can be too focused on its reputation to see the individual and their needs.

I love the city in general. The University's libraries are good. with proper facilities that I can use, such as discussion rooms, computers, printers, even 3D printer! Some buildings look so old but in positive ways, make them look classic and cultured. However, in my own experience, some classrooms are a little bit aged. i mean, like some chairs are feel old, they are sometimes kind of wobbly, and some of them do not have enough leg room. Main library can be crowded when exam days come, but I think that is something that can not be avoided. i think it is good to add some space for classrooms or some like study hubs.

Tutors are lovely but the only thing that could be improved is the support for the English and the rest of the students who are not from Scotland. It's took me 3 years to get help for my dyslexia and that is because I have to pay for it.
