Best thing is the fantastic 24/7 library that's not just resourceful but also incredibly welcoming with even overnight snacks there for those who spend their time at the library at night! I wish the university had more student accommodation on offer for the international students.

The lecturers are lovely and the course material is good. I think the study could be somewhat more guided, though that may just be the reality of university. I think neurodiverse students, such as myself, would benefit greatly from more explcit and personal guidance

I am a mature distance learning student, completing my MA in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics. The online platform is easy to use and the digital library is expansive. All staff have been easy to contact when I need any support, including IT, Finance, Admin, my personal tutor and teaching staff. I have been assigned a mentor to help me stay connected with university life and the Philosophy department. The modules are contemporary, as are the course materials. The student cohort is diverse and we all connect to the course flexibly, from different time zones. I receive a weekly events newsletter which has plenty of options for attending online webinars and socials.

Best aspect is the wonderful array of societies and extra curricular activities on campus, including my personal favourite Musicality! Worst part is probably the obscene charge for student card replacements, mine was stolen and I was still asked to pay £15!

The best aspects of my university experience have been the sense of community and the opportunities for personal and academic growth. My course is taught by passionate lecturers who make the subject feel relevant and engaging, and I’ve appreciated how approachable most staff are when I need help. There are also plenty of extracurricular activities and societies, which made it easy to meet people with similar interests. The campus facilities—like the library, study spaces, and wellbeing services—have also been a big part of what makes it a great place to study. In terms of what could be improved, there are a few key areas. Communication between departments could sometimes be clearer, especially around deadlines and timetable changes. At busy times of the year, access to study spaces can become limited, and more quiet areas or longer opening hours would make a difference. It would also help if there were more practical, hands-on learning opportunities such as placements, workshops, or industry links, as these really enhance understanding and employability. Overall, the university offers a supportive and stimulating environment, but with better organisation and more resources during peak periods, the student experience could be even stronger.

Best aspects would definitely be the people and the location. By the beach but with safe and lively night life, which in my opinion is important for most undergrad students, also the welsh are lovely and friendly. It depends on the area but overall the city feels extremely safe which was important for me. Some of the buildings on the old campus (singleton) look a bit run-down especially when the sun isn't out so it might be worth them revamping some buildings to make certain parts look less depressing. But again thats only a few, and the walk to campus is lovely especially as theres a massive park/green space right next to campus, with a 2 minute detour taking you right to the beach. Can't say too much on the students' union because it looks good but i havent really engaged with it. They always have some sort of event going on but honestly i havent been to many, so maybe the events could be more engaging so more people including myself would go.

It’s such a great place to study because it really feels like every person regardless of who they are is valued and respected 100%, your not a number but a face a human person , your lectures know you and want the best for you, the staff is super willing to help and the campus is super pritty and inviting . Even if you are not a big party person you will find your group of people , no need to drink there are plenty of other activities to do

It does gave students a broader knowledge on psychology and skills to prepare for Phd and Doctorate. However, i still don’t understand why we are studying statistics at high level where exams are strict based and explanations does not try to relate it to the field of psychology!

The Student support in this university is beyond my expectations. All the staff is so helpfull, which make the student life much easier when they are overwhelmed and far from home like me. And student union is also very help and staff there are so friendly that they do there very best to help student in the need or even if they want to know things Student union helps them greatly. Over all im so happy with my universities that im truely unable to find any flaws even im very observing guy.
