Economics postgraduate degrees in South West England

Everything is very well organized, it's easy to understand what to do and start studying. Everything is quite straightforward. The only point I think could be improved it what regards to networking: since it's an online environment, I think the university should better work with connecting students between themselves and with their tutors and teachers. There are forums and we are encouraged to actively participate, but I think there is room for improvement.

UWE has such an amazing and welcoming atmosphere. The campus feels open and alive. My peers are so fun to meet and hang out with. My only negative experience here was with a poorly approved flatmate. UWE is amazing in many ways, but the lack of awareness when it comes to drug-related issues among students could be better. After witnessing a flatmate cause damage to the university property as well as verbal and physical abuse to others in an unsober state, the university accommodation services did an unsatisfactory job at ensuring consequences were met for this individual. But other than that, big ups UWE.

Marjon has a really strong community feel, and its smaller size is a big part of that. There’s a genuine mix of ages and interests, which comes through in the range of activities and spaces available — the Students’ Union, chapel, theatre, and sports centre are all close together and easy to access. If anything could improve, it would be greater financial support at a wider level (e.g., government funding), so the university could invest in hiring more staff and strengthening provision further.
