Ecology postgraduate degrees in East Midlands

I really like how easily accessible some of the student accommodations and the SU is to the rest of campus. I feel that the SU is very much the hub with a variety of different food places and facilities. I enjoy both the nightlife on campus, and how close university is to Leicester town centre. Improvements might include more seating spaces for study as I feel that the SU can often be quite crowded.

The best aspects of my Uni experience is expanding my network and meeting new people. There are so many opportunities and chances to go to events where you can really put yourself out there in the best way possible and meet some really interesting people! The worst aspects of my uni experience would most likely be waking up early in the mornings to get to my 9am seminars on time. But once im there, its not so bad and there are others in my seminar group that are in the same situation as me and can relate so at least im not waking up at 7am on my own!

Best aspect is the wonderful array of societies and extra curricular activities on campus, including my personal favourite Musicality! Worst part is probably the obscene charge for student card replacements, mine was stolen and I was still asked to pay £15!

I am an Apprentice, so not so much involved in student life. However, I am a student with dyslexia and dyspraxia, and university had been great at providing learning support for my learning difficulties. The improvement could also mention accessing this support, as it sometimes takes some affort to establish access to it and to know how to access all this amazing tools that are there but we need to be shown how to do it. Having a one to one with possibly teh same person to work with towards our wellbeing/learning needs would be great.
