The supervisors, Phd office, students and the university itself have been wonderfully supportive. It is easy to criticise minor issues or those beyond the universities control, but overall it is just a great place to be and study. The Students Union could improve the way it deals with people as I did not find them particularly supportive, but then maybe I caught them on a bad day. I will still give them 4 stars since they mean well.

Lincoln is a lovely city, and the University is right next door to the heart of it. The University itself is nice, everyone seems friendly, the facilities are good, and the staff are cool. The only thing which I personally don’t like about the University is that it’s all modern, and I prefer the more traditional feel. The city itself is very historic, but I feel that is not reflected in the University. However, overall the University is nice and an enjoyable place to study. It’s a happy place and that’s what really matters in my opinion!

Best aspects would be the night life and inclusivity, there’s constantly something going on, whether it is at the bar or club or with societies. Also, all the lectures are really helpful and reply quickly if you have any questions or need help. An improvement that could be seen is improving by adding heating in the library as it gets extremely cold in there.

Sometimes feels like lectures do not take additional needs seriously (not asking how it's best to support me). Some modules feels rushed and not properly going into much details. However lecturers for history are approachable if you need support I know it sounds contradict but lecturer are there to support you when necessary.
