The best part is that St. Mary's is a small university so it feels like a very supportive community. We have great well-being resources and events, such as Wobble Week, and campus is really beautiful. The worst part is probably that the Students' Union could be a bit more modern and cosy. I would also love some better quality tennis courts.

The supervisors, Phd office, students and the university itself have been wonderfully supportive. It is easy to criticise minor issues or those beyond the universities control, but overall it is just a great place to be and study. The Students Union could improve the way it deals with people as I did not find them particularly supportive, but then maybe I caught them on a bad day. I will still give them 4 stars since they mean well.

Campus life is engaging and fun if you're active; lots of choices of sports and social clubs. 3sixty club in campus is also one of best student clubbing experience I've had in the UK. Library is chic and comfortable with sufficient study spaces and books / online resource. Course content is interesting and inspiring but coursework is indeed demanding (if you are a good and hardworking student). Tutoring hours is not quite enough and most of the time you are expected to guide yourself through module content and problem solving. Disabilities support is available and of easy access but they could be reluctant to provided further assistance to students suffering from severe conditions or sudden accidents, and this could impact your studies to a large degree. However, if you are a healthy student with normal social life, it is not that difficult to graduate with a 2:1 or 1st with a bit of hard work whilst enjoying uni life.

ne of the keys to effective studying is finding a good location. It's difficult to study in a room full of distractions. However, the ideal location for you may not be the ideal study location for someone else. You may not like studying somewhere private, or even very quiet, but you do want to make sure that you study at a location that is conducive to your method of learning, allows you to concentrate, and is free of distractions.

Best aspects are the quality of education, facilities, good student support meanwhile worst aspects are problems with websites, and some transactions/processes. Although I wouldn't call it "worst", more free seatings and tables out of the faculties that didn't belong to a brand or place would be nicer.

Great place to study; staff is awesome and courses are engaging. As for improvement, better health services, especially for mental health. Some of the underlying things are not what they seem: i.e. lecturers have to strike every semester just to get paid and the school can be too focused on its reputation to see the individual and their needs.

I currently study at the Headingley campus which is a beautiful place to study, with a mixture of traditional and modern architecture, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are amazing and equipment is fully updated which allows me and others to get the best out of the course and to put knowledge learnt to practice in practical sessions. As part of my nutrition course so far, I would say my favourite part was cooking in the kitchen and understanding what we need to eat to be able to perform to our full potential. Another great experience so far is the seminar bonding sessions. Starting University, I did not know any people on my course, however team bonding activities were available to get to know lecturers and students in the same course with similar interests. The workload is greatly managed with lectures being released weekly and small and achievable tasks are set session to keep me on track throughout each semester. I also take part in the social sport. The facilities are really good for the football membership and I have open access to the gym, swimming and many more. The coaches are highly qualified and make sessions worth while. The only thing I would improve is the cost as it is quite expensive and doesn’t include training kit or accessories. Overall I would highly recommend Leeds beckett University.

Lincoln is a lovely city, and the University is right next door to the heart of it. The University itself is nice, everyone seems friendly, the facilities are good, and the staff are cool. The only thing which I personally don’t like about the University is that it’s all modern, and I prefer the more traditional feel. The city itself is very historic, but I feel that is not reflected in the University. However, overall the University is nice and an enjoyable place to study. It’s a happy place and that’s what really matters in my opinion!

There are a ton of spaces on campus to go and study, most buildings have study areas that are both in high traffic areas but also secluded quite areas that are great for doing some work in peace! I enjoy how many different lectureres I have across my modules, as they all have different personal experiences they share, as well as all obviously being very knowlegedable in particular areas. As someone looking to do a geography degree after this foundation year, the social science foundation year includes certain topics im not that interested in and can find quite boring to study. However I have also found topics that despite not having any prior interest in, have become some of my most enjoyable topics to learn and read about. I enjoy some modules more than others but overall the study experience is positive and feels valuable for studying a degree from next year onwards at Sussex.

I have enjoyed the social aspects such as meeting new people. I have also enjoyed my course so far as there is a wide range of activities. There could be more guidance on second year housing as it can be quite hard to look so early on when you don't know people as well.
