The University of Gloucestershire offers a comprehensive range of facilities and a vibrant student life across its three campuses: The Park and Francis Close Hall in Cheltenham, and Oxstalls in Gloucester. The Francis Close Hall and Oxstalls campus libraries provide 24/7 access to extensive collections, IT resources, wireless printing, and photocopying services. Across the university, students have access to over 500 computers, free Wi-Fi, and loanable laptops. Media equipment, including camcorders and dictaphones, is also available, with digital editing software installed on all library PCs. The university boasts a variety of specialist facilities tailored to different disciplines. For instance, the Oxstalls campus houses the Business School and Growth Hub, featuring a live trading room, innovative teaching spaces, and a moot court room. Additionally, the campus offers an international-standard sports arena, 3G pitches, and a cricket pavilion and pitch. The University of Gloucestershire fosters a diverse student community where individuals from various backgrounds learn together while embracing university life. Given the unique challenges faced by these students—such as research commitments, placements, or unforeseen personal circumstances—offering flexible housing options would greatly enhance their academic experience and overall well-being. This initiative would reflect the university's commitment to student support, ensuring that all scholars have access to a stable and conducive living environment during critical phases of their studies.

It’s an amazing place to study with tons of opportunities for students to thrive and learn, but the social aspect on UoN is sadly not there. A lot of people struggle to find anything fun to do here and about town as it’s a very quiet place full of mainly elderly.

The people I have met here are so amazing, I feel very safe and comfortable. Testament support are always finding new ways to improve and are continuously raising awareness on what they have on offer and how they are abkd to support every individual

University of Hull has a beautiful and serene environment suitable for learning and even relaxing. The lecturers are very warm and receptive. Things that could be improved: student union (I don’t really see what they do, I’m sorry); the university should make arrangements with more landlords in order to make students living easier; Timetable should be more flexible (we asked for a change in my department but nothing was done)

From my opinion I would say ARU is praised for its supportive staff, modern facilities, diverse community, and strong career services. However, areas for improvement include communication responsiveness, consistency in course delivery, better promotion of extracurricular activities, and some accommodation and facility concerns. Overall, it offers a positive student experience with room for enhancement in certain aspects.

The best aspect is the location, smallish campus and town makes for a great sense of community. Close proximity to London and great town centre with safe nightlife. The worst aspect is the campus aesthetic, not pretty as most of it seems to have been built at once in a brutalist style. This being said, the greenspace by the lake is lovely and the rest of campus is easily navigable.

Best is the people and the quality of the education, worst has to deal with who runs UCL, administration has quite a few dirtbags. Facilitates aren't the greatest. I prefer more of a traditional campus feel and prefer KCL and LSE campus. Still considering coming back to UCL to apply for a LLM, alongside the other London unis, and maybe throw my shot at oxbridge.
