The best aspects are the student union and the facilities available. I think it could be improved if we had more books generally available at the library without requiring click and collect, since right now the library feels like a study space but not a real library.

UCLan is a great place to study because of its friendly staff, diverse student community, and excellent facilities like the library and sports centre. It provides strong academic and personal support. One area for improvement could be creating more study spaces during exam periods and adding more campus events to bring students together.

The best part of my experience at NTU has been the strong sense of support and inclusivity, particularly for mature students and those coming through non-traditional routes into higher education. NTU has been a great place to study because it recognises students as individuals. Tutors are approachable, understanding and genuinely invested in student success. Worst aspects / areas for improvement The most challenging aspect has been balancing the intensity of the course alongside family responsibilities and placement demands. At times, workloads can feel heavy, particularly when academic deadlines coincide with placement hours. While support is available, clearer communication around expectations and timelines across modules could sometimes help reduce pressure. What makes NTU a great place to study – and how could it be improved? NTU is a great place to study because of its supportive learning environment, strong links between theory and practice, and commitment to widening participation. To improve further, continued flexibility for students with caring responsibilities and clearer coordination of assessment deadlines would enhance the experience even more — particularly for mature students and apprentices balancing multiple roles.

I think there are a lot of resources available lately and even support for international student but I think they could be more facilities to study such as study rooms, more pods available And also more student events!!

Best experiences are working within the kitchens amongst other culinary driven peers. The student support is good too. Things that could be better are the resources provided for culinary students as it seems to be a reoccurring issue where the isn’t enough produce to make a dish and this can be understandable at times however in order to work to the best possible ability we need the best resources and quantity too.

The location is very well, the campus is good, but the toilets is not enough, specially, because we have a lot people inside and for some people need to wash feat to pray, the don't have the place. We need more toilets space.
