An issue however i think is the depth of attention and care paid to students, particularly concerning mental well-being. Infamously university is a new scary beginning and students handle this anxiety in different ways, i think more provisions should be put in place and although students have a personal tutor, they usually meet with these staff members in groups. I believe a far more helpful option would be to provide students with one to one meetings with well being officers, as once things become overwhelming for students, reaching out to the well being department to speak to a staff member who is a stranger is rather daunting.
