I am currently studying MSc International Business Management at De Montfort University, Leicester, and I am really enjoying my experience. DMU uses a block teaching method, and they are pioneers in this approach. I find it very effective because it allows me to focus on one module at a time for better understanding. The course is highly relevant to my future goals, and the teaching style is engaging and interactive — with weekly lectures, seminars, and workshops that make learning more practical and enjoyable. The only downside is that the workload can feel intense during each block, since all assessments come close together. However, this also helps build time management and focus, which are valuable skills for the future.

Best part of the uni is it's facilities like the David Wilson Library and sports centers, student union , career hub etc. Accommodation is decent, with options in the city and The Village, though the latter is farther from campus. On the downside, some buildings feel outdated, Wi-Fi can be patchy, and travel from The Village to campus can be inconvenient. Overall, it’s supportive with room for improvement.
