It is a great place to study because its in a big city. Liverpool is very diverse interms of people food and culture. The student support is good and the website is very user friendly for anything one might be looking for. In terms of improvement, it think the university could offer more opportunities for partime jobs to international students

The commute links are very convenient as someone who has to travel from peripheries of Manchester .St James campus is very arranged and plentiful spaces and resources for students like myself however I must say there isn’t much of a social aspect example societies or events going on I believe due to it not being Edge Hills main campus However since my course is placement based when we do arrive to campus we naturally socialise and she one another’s experiences .Overall Univeristy social aspect is amazing considering lots of places to go since on Oxford Road Would be nice to have some events or even go to Main campus as a whole

Best - course team deliver the course well, uni has lots of facilities and is generally clean and smart looking, central location makes it easier for commuting students Worst - lack of library facilities in main building, lack of space in cafes, needs more tables

University of Hull has a beautiful and serene environment suitable for learning and even relaxing. The lecturers are very warm and receptive. Things that could be improved: student union (I don’t really see what they do, I’m sorry); the university should make arrangements with more landlords in order to make students living easier; Timetable should be more flexible (we asked for a change in my department but nothing was done)

UCLan is a great place to study because of its friendly staff, diverse student community, and excellent facilities like the library and sports centre. Best aspects: The university provides a supportive learning environment with helpful lecturers and good academic resources. The campus is generally welcoming, and there are plenty of opportunities to develop skills both academically and personally. Worst aspects / Improvements: One issue that needs improvement is the heating and hot water system, as it does not always work properly. At times, students only have access to cold water, which can be uncomfortable and difficult, especially for students who are sensitive or have health issues related to cold temperatures. Ensuring reliable heating and hot water would greatly improve student comfort and wellbeing.

Contact hours are minimal, to an extent that it is enough time spent learning and enough time spent to yourself for the course. This allows me to gain other experiences as I have more time throughout the day. It’s a great place to study during exam times as the library remains open 24/7, however the library does not remain open during the rest of the semester which is something I wish they did do as it’d help me get my work done, as someone who struggles to study in the safety of her own room.

Worst is library computers, they have to include usbc for computer extension. I like the organisation I wish they had more international student support considering we’re paying 3x more for the same thing
