The support Brighton Uni has given me so much support with this course and made it very clear who to contact if any issues arise. I also know from friends how incredibly supportive and sympathetic the uni has been when they have experienced personal issues. This is my second Uni I have studied at, and Brighton is far better with the support it gives its students compared to the first one.

The lecturers are really approachable and want you to succeed. It feels really inclusive and diversity is appreciated. Being so close to Manchester there's lots going on and good transport links. The only real criticism I have is the use of online lectures, how ever much they try, they aren't as condusive to learning as in person lectures are especially if you have difficulties with concentration. I understand that universities are trying to find ways to cut costs but I feel that this detracts from the whole student experience both academically and socially.

They messed up all the support areas when they centralised it. It's hard for students to get the right help and feel a sense of knowing with the support staff. They are all super helpful but can't be found or reached anywhere. Facilities for music production are insanely good with Atmos rooms and great consoles and equipment available for us to use.

Small university which is good as it means that everything is all in the same place. It is conveniently placed next to the train station which is a 5 minute journey to Edinburgh. Class sizes are smaller than most other universities which allows you to get to know your classmates and lecturers better. Good variety of sports and societies which are very fun and allows you to meet new people and make friends.
