The best is the people and the lecturers. The facilities are vast meaning support is available for many issues not only academic. The place that may need improvement is the social accepts as it may be hard to make connections for many.

What students say about children-and-youth-social-work

Everything about UoB is great! Especially being an international student, UoB has provided me with a sense of warmth and welcoming and has created an environment that feels like a home away from home. The exposure we have as university students to the field of careers is amazing. And the university also has an amazing careers connect team that provide one-to-one support from mock interviews to CV reviews. The academic faculty is filled with professors who are experts in their chosen fields.

What students say about children-and-youth-social-work

Newman is a great place to study due to the facilities that we have access to. The library is amazing for a place to study and also allows us to maximise our learning potential due to the resources we have available. All of the staff have been nothing but excellent with supporting me, specifically my academic personal tutor; I find it really helpful to have an appointed person who I can go to for academic and student support.
