Great social life, good options for student societies, a lot of student support. A lot of professionals teaching on the course and it gave me exactly what I wanted for my career progression into genetics

Generally a great collection of faculty and always researching for ways to be more sustainable and inclusive. could be better in providing resources for students in healthcare degrees as career development opportunities are all surrounding corporate career

Studying at University of Aberdeen has been a truly rewarding experience because of its supportive academic environment, knowledgeable staff, and diverse international community. The university encourages independent thinking and research development while also providing students with guidance and opportunities to grow both academically and personally. One area that could always be further improved is expanding student support and social spaces even more, but overall it remains an inspiring and welcoming place to study.

More events for masters students who are not international students as in September there is freshers for undergraduate students and events for international students but master students are often forgot about or given a master’s mingle but that didn’t encourage interaction. I think societies and clubs should have the option to join online and have times and location posted as I have found it very difficult to join societies as most have no information posted which is poor and not encouraging

I love all the student deals. However, I feel like many of the student activity processes could be streamlined as it seems so overwhelming as a foreigner/first-year. Like, having to book a ticket, but then still waiting in line or an event being overbooked via ticketing that people are dissuaded to come. Then, when the event takes place, the ticket holders don’t even come.

The Best: Any clarity on studies, student life, mental health, physical fitness was easily approachable and helpful. Professors are very kind and knowledgeable. When questioned correctly they are ready to help at any extent. Access to library and fitness is very useful and maintained promptly. Ambience and location of the university is perfectly held.
