The academic staff that I have come into contact with are amazing and clearly care so much about their students - a complete contrast to university management who clearly could not care less about students, their welfare and their educational experience worst - university cutbacks - all of the cuts are financially unnecessary and are hollowing out the university, making students' experience worse and removing so many of the courses, staff and opportunities that make the university world renowned. Accessibility is also vastly varied between departments, and as a disabled politics student I haven't felt very supported by the departments processes etc despite the incredible academics who go above and beyond to ensure I am getting the most out of my education
