The student union are very helpful and put on many things on campus to keep us entertained. In addition lab sessions on my course are very helpful and an amazing way to learn. However, some lectures are quite long and difficult to follow. Lectures should be more than just reading off of a PowerPoint and should only show crucial information to stop confusion in topics.

The location is fantastic. Plymouth is a beautiful city with decent nightlife and you can easily get on a train or a cheap bus and travel in any direction and enjoy the most beautiful coast and countryside. The main campus is nice, albeit mostly grey concrete with some ugly modern art thrown in. There isn't as much greenery as other universities and some of the facilities aren't great but the good ones are really modern, really colourful and very comfortable. The lecturers are nice people and some of their classes are really interesting and involving. The Student Union organises all sorts of events celebrating different cultures and in the bar there are drinks for a reasonable price, themed discos and a pub quiz every Sunday, all very enjoyable. There are lots of sports clubs and different societies to join and they're generally very welcoming.

Plymouth Marjon University is a fantastic place to study because of its friendly and supportive community. The small campus means you get to know people easily, and the staff are always approachable. The facilities, like the Sports Centre and specialist spaces, are great, and the location near the coast and Dartmoor is amazing for balancing studies with outdoor activities. That said, I think it could improve by offering more modern accommodation and expanding its range of courses, especially online options. Better public transport links to the campus would also make it easier for everyone to get there.
