Durham is a beautiful city and university with great social opportunities. The traditions are very strong at this school. It feels today like how Oxford and Cambridge were twenty years ago. Sometimes administration can be a challenge, many people have difficulty in knowing how to pay tuition and the university is slow to respond to emails. Also, there are far too many international students and just students in general. The university’s expansion plans are causing a drop in the school’s national and international rankings and causing the university to be in danger of losing its character.

Contact hours are minimal, to an extent that it is enough time spent learning and enough time spent to yourself for the course. This allows me to gain other experiences as I have more time throughout the day. It’s a great place to study during exam times as the library remains open 24/7, however the library does not remain open during the rest of the semester which is something I wish they did do as it’d help me get my work done, as someone who struggles to study in the safety of her own room.

The best part of my university experience has been the learning environment and independence. I’ve had access to good facilities, knowledgeable tutors, and projects that push me to think critically and work in a more professional way, especially through practical and design-based assignments. University has also helped me develop discipline, self-management, and confidence in my own ideas. Being surrounded by people from different backgrounds has broadened how I think, both academically and personally.

Cons: "While the facilities are excellent, some of the older study spaces could benefit from more power outlets to accommodate students during peak exam seasons."

The focused student support is what makes it stand out. Because in the university there are not a lot of students and attention of the professor doesnt get divided. You can get personalised guidance and this thing is gold to grab more and more opportunities in your career.

Studying at University of Aberdeen has been a truly rewarding experience because of its supportive academic environment, knowledgeable staff, and diverse international community. The university encourages independent thinking and research development while also providing students with guidance and opportunities to grow both academically and personally. One area that could always be further improved is expanding student support and social spaces even more, but overall it remains an inspiring and welcoming place to study.

Different people will have different perspectives. But if you are into a quieter and scenic environment, University of Exeter is the best place to be in. The school provides a lot of lesson materials and support for student academic. Many varieties of society and clubs to fit the students' needs. Campus has many facilities such as music studios, sports building, libraries and etc. and stores such as food stores, supermarket, coffee shops and utility/clothing shops.
