My best experience at Ulster University when I started working here as Global Ambassador. I really appreciate that university offers part time to students and obviously it's a well paid job. We learn a lot about communication skill but I am delighted to see that students here at Ulster University can have this practical, hands on experience by working as Global Ambassador, Student Ambassador, Campus Ambassador. University also arranges job fairs, career fairs, various events so the students get opportunities to interact and build network connection with recruiters, fellow students, staffs and faculty members. Ulster University student portal has A 2 Z information for example if a student needs to have access to online publications for writing academic essays, they can easily use online library services in portal. No need to go to bank to pay fees, students can easily pay fees through portal. For international students, university have made available a very useful app called UUniready app. So any international student can get all details in the app that they are required to know before arriving about Belfast/Northern Ireland, University, collecting BRP, booking for accomodation, CELT session, orientation session. I would suggest all facilities should help their students to get placement/internship after completing their course. I have heard many students struggling with getting placement as they don't get that support from faculty. Most of the international students are new here, they don't know much people so I would suggest the facilities should help them to find a placement.
