Biotechnology postgraduate degrees

The staff are incredible, unbelievably understanding and supportive. They want you to succeed and you can really tell. However, Lipman building is constantly broken. The top two floors have been out of service for year and now the entire building is out of commission and not expected to be back until the summer. Surely at this point just demolish the place.

The lecturers are really approachable and want you to succeed. It feels really inclusive and diversity is appreciated. Being so close to Manchester there's lots going on and good transport links. The only real criticism I have is the use of online lectures, how ever much they try, they aren't as condusive to learning as in person lectures are especially if you have difficulties with concentration. I understand that universities are trying to find ways to cut costs but I feel that this detracts from the whole student experience both academically and socially.

Amazing overall experience but with a few caveats. Not enough support for placement students especially if they have trouble while on placement. Not enough dedication is given to the welfare and diversity/EDI sector, constantly feels like students are fighting to keep it going and the uni/union is ready to shut services down whenever possible.

Best Aspects of Studying at the University of Chester: Beautiful Campus and it is friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Staff and students alike are approachable, creating a welcoming environment for learning and personal growth. As for the worst aspects, the acoomodation cost is high.

Campus, access to central London, Greenwich Town atmosphere, resources and support available, peaceful. Organisation, cleanliness, and aesthetic of university advertisements and facilities could be improved on to reflect the university’s most recent logo and paying attention to the small details

University of Essex, is within the heart of colchester with easy access to train stations to into London and bus stops to get into town. Its a small campus that has lot of greenery and has multiple places to study, eat and socialise. The lecture theatre give you enough space to work in and there are plenty of lab spaces that you can use in lessons and when doing your own studies.
