De Montfort University in Leicester is considered a great place to study because it offers a supportive learning environment, innovative block teaching, strong career and placement support, modern facilities, and a diverse student community in an affordable and vibrant city. Students benefit from accessible lecturers, practical industry-focused courses, extensive societies and extracurricular opportunities, and good wellbeing services. However, it could improve by ensuring more consistent feedback quality, strengthening industry engagement even further, and enhancing small campus facilities and overall student support to make the experience even smoother for everyone.

The facilities are awesome, particularly if you love getting involved in sport. The worst thing I’ve had to deal with is the room booking system for societies is occasionally frustrating, though they are in the midst of reworking it now. Very good, can highly recommend coming here.

The campus at the University of Nottingham is a beautiful place to be able to complete my studies. It has a welcoming and homely feeling. Facilities such as the David Ross Sports Centre and both libraries make it easy for me to complete extra activities such as netball and going to the gym, along with great places to study. Improvements involving the student union could be made, as I found it difficult to find out information about this. However, I couldn’t fault any other aspect of the University.
