I love studying at southampton because we each have a personal academic tutor (PAT) and mine is really helpful. I also love the draft system we have for marked essays, which give us a mark prediction for final submission as well as a lot of useful feedback for editing. I also enjoy the range of sports and societies I can join, I have tried so many new things and it's so much cheaper than trying it outside of university so I highly recommend trying some out. The campus is beautiful in the spring and summer, so many trees and flowers, lots of benches to sit out in the sun. The library is nice and big with hot water and microwaves for your pot noodles and ready meals. However, it would be nice if it was cooler inside when the weather is hotter as it can feel a bit sweaty inside. There are so many fun philosophy modules and you can choose to take a module from an external subject each semester which is a great opportunity. The student union hold events throughout the year to make friends and meet new people so if you keep putting yourself out there, you are guaranteed to meet some nice people.

The University Experience was Good for me when I compare to own Country (India) Whereas the Students and Faculties in the University are well Mannered and Giving respect to each other and the Teaching is also good . Lovely nature-based campus and close-knit community feel, as it is so small compared to my undergrad in Bristol. The ecology department is amazing – kind and engaging lectures and guest lecturer seminars for wider context. Improvements – bus prices are high. It would be amazing if there was a full-size pool. Dance studio access for both Exeter and Falmouth students.

Amazing facilities for my course, it's in a convenient area, as someone who's struggled to make friends in the past I had no issue finding a community within the climbing society which is one of the many societies that the student union offers.

The best part of my university experience has been the learning environment and independence. I’ve had access to good facilities, knowledgeable tutors, and projects that push me to think critically and work in a more professional way, especially through practical and design-based assignments. University has also helped me develop discipline, self-management, and confidence in my own ideas. Being surrounded by people from different backgrounds has broadened how I think, both academically and personally.

There are excellent lecturers and student support services (particularly academic skills). The campus has a good feel and has a lot of outdoor seating which will be nice when the weather is warm. Lecture rooms are good but the seats are very uncomfortable. There is little impact from the students' union, for example there was no 'refreshers fayre' for January intake students, which also impacts the student life score.

Durham is a beautiful city and university with great social opportunities. The traditions are very strong at this school. It feels today like how Oxford and Cambridge were twenty years ago. Sometimes administration can be a challenge, many people have difficulty in knowing how to pay tuition and the university is slow to respond to emails. Also, there are far too many international students and just students in general. The university’s expansion plans are causing a drop in the school’s national and international rankings and causing the university to be in danger of losing its character.

Worst is library computers, they have to include usbc for computer extension. I like the organisation I wish they had more international student support considering we’re paying 3x more for the same thing
