The positioning of the uni is perfect, centred right near the town and has a large amount of facilities to support any student with their course. The focus on mental health and student support is impressive, and the extra information they send out in emails is extremely useful. The colleges also each have their own individual activities each week, which is a brilliant way to promote friendships within your blocks. The lectures are entertaining and informative, and the lecturers are all very enthusiastic about their subjects.

The course has a lot of variety, which allows a large quantity of information on lots of subjects to enable a larger variety in which you would like to specialise in. However, there is not a lot of one on one contact tune

My flat mates are lovely - everyone gets on so well and there is no disrespect or arguments. We also get our rooms cleaned weekly, yet the cleaners can be picky about whether the kitchen is in a state to clean.

I am really enjoying my time at Uni of York. Paticularly taking part in sports and societies. I would advise people going to uni to pop a dot of nail varnish on every piece of kitchen equipment. After all everyone is bringing wooden spoons and you can not tell the difference between theirs and yours at the end of the year!
