I have had a great time at Strathclyde considering the pandemic I think they have done a wonderful job catering to the students to give us a university year that has been informative, fun and helpful. I cannot speak about any lab work as this has been impossible but considering the professional manner that has been taken this year I can’t wait for lab work next year.

For the relatively cheap accommodation it comes with many bonuses such as being in the city centre and having access to the gym. Also the library is very good for studying in.

The university takes mental health seriously always offering help if needed.

I will have 2 live lectures a week and maybe 3 - 4 hours of non live lectures a week and along with 3 tutorials that I can use to ask questions there is also a number of optional classes if help is needed but I have not attended any of these, as I find the mandatory classes sufficient enough to gain a good understanding.

I have been given many pointers towards getting a job and improving my CV bit as I am a first year not too much has been explored yet.

Student life is fab, lots to do on campus

Contact hours are good but tiring
